My name is Jaminine Locreda, it's pronounced Jā-mə-nən Lo-kre-də. You can call me Jamie for short – because people have said my name wrong my entire life. I have been working as a Designer for over six years or so. I specialize in web & mobile apps, websites, marketing materials, and other bespoke products. My skills are likely changing from having a singular focus to becoming multi-disciplinary. I have a passion for unraveling design complexity to build something that makes sense to people.

One important thing I've learned through my years of experience working as a Designer is that communication is everything. You can't make a valuable and impactful product if it doesn't communicate effectively. In other words, communication is the key essential for successfully designing something that leaves a significant, positive impression on humans.

I had previously worked for a Norwegian company in 2017 as a full-time UI/UX Designer then, eventually within a year or so after that, I got introduced to a challenging role that was Front-end Developer Specialist. But then recently, I decided to quit my job and go on hiatus for a few months. I wanted to give more time for myself to focus on self-development and explore a great new opportunity. I am pursuing a self-study in another field of design for the time being, as I continue looking for any suitable full-time jobs or new freelance clients.
